Microsoft AutoRoute is an excellent software for planning road trips which provides you with street-maps, accurate driving directions, timings and costings. As in previous versions, you can print your travel plans, share them online or though e-mail. You may follow them in your vehicle to make your trips easier and more comfortable knowing that the route your are following is the correct one, that your fuel is enough to reach your destination, among other things. The program also includes detailed maps of 15 European countries and the UK, and limited coverage for other 20 countries, mainly located in the Eastern part of Europe. Moreover, AutoRoute 2007 provides useful information about places of interest, such as monuments, theaters, cinemas, wineries and pubs, as well as essentials like ATMs and petrol stations. The user interface does not show any changes, so the owners of previous versions are going to be very familiar with it, and the beginners do not have to worry because it is really user-friendly and simple. |
